I’m notoriously bad at taking before photos but these snapshots show some progress in breathing life into my garden plot. My goal was initially only to plant wildflowers and build a wildlife oasis, but being in the hot weather of Bay Area Mediterranean climate again, it’s irresistible ot grow tomatoes. This is the first time I’ve really committed to more native wildflowers; I have a cluster of mountain garlands, yarrow, lacy phacelia, yellow bush lupines from seed (fingers crossed) and a patch of a California hills mix.
